Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ParsaDev ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you play Quadrillionaire (the "Game") on iOS (with iPadOS, macOS and Android to follow), and when you visit its website at quadrillionaire.app.

We are based in London, United Kingdom. The Game is distributed globally through the Apple App Store (and, once the Android version is released, Google Play).

1. A quick summary

  • You can play as a guest with no account — your save then stays on your device.
  • If you sign in (Apple, Google, Microsoft or email), we store your game save in the cloud so it syncs across devices.
  • We use analytics and crash reporting to keep the Game stable and improve it.
  • We show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. On Apple devices, ads use your device advertising identifier only if you allow it in the tracking prompt.
  • In-app purchases are handled by Apple/Google — we never see your card details.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

a) Account & profile (only if you sign in). Email address and the authentication identifier from your chosen provider (Apple, Google, Microsoft or email/password); your chosen username and avatar selection. Sign in with Apple may provide a private relay email if you choose to hide yours.

b) Game save data. Your in-game progress (wallet, businesses, empires, holdings, loans, tax, lifestyle and personal assets, settings). Stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, in our cloud database so it can sync.

c) Usage & device analytics. App events (e.g. screens viewed, features used, purchases made), app version, device model, operating-system version, language, region and coarse, non-precise diagnostics — collected via Google Firebase Analytics.

d) Crash & performance data. Crash logs, stack traces and device/OS state at the time of a crash, via Firebase Crashlytics, to fix bugs.

e) Advertising data. When ads are shown via Google AdMob, AdMob may process ad interactions and a device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID) and related signals to serve and measure ads. On Apple devices we ask for your permission first via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads are served without the IDFA (non-personalised where required).

f) Purchase data. Whether you bought the one-time ad-free upgrade, via the Apple/Google receipt. Payment is processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full payment-card information.

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone or health data.

3. How we use information

  • To run the Game, save your progress and sync it across your devices.
  • To authenticate you and resolve save conflicts.
  • To keep the Game stable (crash reporting) and to understand and improve how it is used (analytics).
  • To show and measure optional ads, and to honour your ad-tracking choice.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, cheating or security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

Where UK/EU data-protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (running the Game and cloud save you asked for); legitimate interests (securing, maintaining and improving the Game, and non-personalised measurement); consent (device-identifier-based advertising/tracking, which you can withdraw in your device settings); and legal obligation where applicable.

5. Sharing & processors

We share data with service providers ("processors") who act on our instructions:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics) — account, save, analytics and crash data.
  • Google AdMob — advertising.
  • Apple and Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchase processing.

These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond what AdMob requires for the ads you consent to. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.

International transfers: data may be processed outside your country (including the US) using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep your account and cloud-save data while your account exists. If you delete your account (see Section 9), we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons. Guest (local-only) data lives on your device until you delete the app or reset progress in-game.

7. Children

The Game contains frequent simulated gambling themes (an in-game casino and underground/government content) with no real-money wagering or payout, and is rated 18+ and intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to/restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent.

  • UK/EEA (GDPR): all of the above; you may also complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — note we do not sell your data. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email support.quadrillionaire@gmail.com. You can also manage ad-tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

9. Deleting your account & data

You can request deletion at any time:

  • In-app: Portfolio → Settings → Account → Delete account.
  • By email: support.quadrillionaire@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account".
  • Web: see /delete-account/.

We delete your cloud save and account record and instruct our processors accordingly. See the deletion page for exactly what is removed and timing.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, authenticated access to the cloud database via per-account security rules). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; we'll change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued play after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
